OUR STORY

Bowls is our DNA - Commitment to our community’s health, wellness, and the pursuit of sporting excellence our driver. Manly Bowling Club (MBC) was established in 1952 and has been the Hibiscus Coast's best kept secret until today!

Identifying a shortage of community amenities, having a solid foundation to work from, and having been given the mandate by our members, the Board has been tasked with bringing the club into the twenty-first century.

MBC is committed to involving the entire community by offering a variety of sports and social occasions.

Our club caters to families, sports enthusiasts of all levels, and social events such as birthdays and weddings - for everyone "from 2 to 92", while never losing sight of our Bowls DNA (because Bowls is fun!).

Business House, Twilight, Championship and Casual Bowls makes up only part of our club.

We already host Kick Boxing, Garden Club, Mahjong, Darts, Pool, Weddings and Corporate Events, as well as Tennis and The Manly Sailing Club, demonstrating the community spirit demanded in our values.

Addressing a clear gap in the neighbourhood, we hope to develop an adaptable community gathering place for numerous simultaneous events.

By engaging in community collaboration, we aim to create a vibrant hub that caters to the diverse needs and passions of our residents.

Our club is on the journey to becoming a symbol of our commitment to our community’s health, wellness, and the pursuit of sporting excellence.
